Park Hyatt to Open in Riviera Maya on December 3 With 148 Rooms

The Park Hyatt Riviera Maya resort, a 148-room luxury all-inclusive property on Mexico's Caribbean coast

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Park Hyatt will open its first luxury all-inclusive resort on Dec. 3, 2026, when Park Hyatt Riviera Maya welcomes guests on Mexico’s Caribbean coast between Cancún and Puerto Morelos.

The property will have 148 rooms, including 42 suites. Every room will offer an ocean view and a private terrace, while some categories will add a private pool and jacuzzi. The project marks a new application of the all-inclusive model for Park Hyatt, the Hyatt brand associated with luxury lodging, personalized service and high-end dining.

Food and beverage will be a centerpiece of the resort, with seven restaurants and bars spanning a range of cuisines alongside a selection of wines and spirits. The program will be paired with personalized service as part of the property’s positioning strategy.

On the wellness side, the complex will feature a spa, a fitness center, a beachfront pool and an outdoor spa garden. Guests will also have access to El Tinto Golf Course, adding golf to the property’s lineup of experiences.

Location is another key element of the project. Park Hyatt Riviera Maya sits within AMAI, a private coastal enclave reached through a mangrove area about 20 minutes from Cancún International Airport.

The architecture and interiors will draw on regional craft materials, techniques and elements through a contemporary lens. The aim is to connect the stay with the culture, nature and cuisine of the Yucatan Peninsula, and to integrate activities tied to the surrounding environment.

For the meetings and events segment, the resort will offer indoor and outdoor spaces for gatherings, celebrations and destination weddings, distributed across the property and included in its offering for groups and events.

Grand Hyatt is arriving in Cancún for the first time with a 500-room property that will operate under an all-inclusive concept in the exclusive Puerto Cancún development. The Grand Hyatt Cancun Beach Resort is scheduled to open in December.
