Quintana Roo, Mexico — In less than three months, the Quintana Roo Real Estate System has registered more than 152,000 queries and over eight thousand users, establishing itself as a key tool for preventing real estate fraud and providing legal certainty.
Mariann González Pliego Castillo, Director of the Public Property Registry, stated that the portal has been widely accepted due to its easy access and the ability to complete procedures without visiting a government office. This system allows individuals to verify if the person offering a property is truly its owner before finalizing a purchase.
Among the available procedures are lien certificates, proof of ownership, certified copies, registration histories, and certificates of inscription, all available digitally and without the need for a notary public.
The platform centralizes more than one million properties, migrates over three million records, and connects with institutions such as the SATQ, the CENAM, and the RENAPO, streamlining data validation. Furthermore, it allows for queries from anywhere in the country regarding properties located in any of the state’s municipalities.
Governor Mara Lezama emphasized that this system strengthens transparency and security in real estate operations in Quintana Roo.
