Morena Ratifies Gino Segura as Quintana Roo State Coordinator

Gino Segura, ratified as Morena's state coordinator for Quintana Roo

Quintana Roo — Morena’s National Council has ratified Gino Segura as the party’s state coordinator for the Defense of Transformation and National Sovereignty in Quintana Roo, formalizing his continued leadership of the movement in the state.

The swearing-in marks the beginning of a new phase of political and organizational work centered on unity, strengthening the party’s territorial presence and staying close to residents of Quintana Roo, according to information released by Morena.

Work Planned Across All 11 Municipalities

The agenda includes activity in all 11 of the state’s municipalities, with tours, discussions with municipal and precinct-level structures, and meetings with residents of neighborhoods and communities.

The strategy is meant to reinforce communication and coordination between Morena’s structures and the organizing work the movement carries out directly on the ground. It will also include efforts to encourage participation and maintain contact with different sectors of the population, the party said in its announcement.

Unity and a Permanent Presence in the Field

State party leaders said coordination among members of the movement and organization in each municipality will be central to this new stage.

After his ratification, Segura said he takes on the responsibility with a commitment to work in a coordinated manner and maintain a permanent presence in the field.

“You have in me a colleague who assumes with responsibility the commitment to consolidate Quintana Roo as a national reference in the defense of the transformation and sovereignty,” he said.

The work plan calls for continuing tours across Quintana Roo, strengthening dialogue with local structures and keeping direct contact with communities.
