The search continues for Gregory Romes, a foreign diver who went missing last Saturday during a diving tour off the island's north coast. The 74-year-old was part of a group of five divers exploring the San Juan area.
The incident occurred at 10 a.m. on Saturday when Romes and his group embarked on a diving tour aboard the Deep Exposure 2. After spending some time underwater, the other four divers returned to the boat, but Romes did not.
The navy, along with other private vessels, immediately initiated a search operation. Despite their intensive efforts, they have yet to locate the missing diver.
Authorities have urged all vessels sailing off the island's north coast to remain vigilant and report any potential sightings of Romes.
