At least ten Maya Train workers were injured in a serious accident in Playa del Carmen. The incident occurred when a personnel transport van collided with a dump truck. The injured include eight men and two women.
Unfortunately, four of the victims did not have health insurance. The driver of the van was severely injured, and many of the victims sustained major injuries, including broken legs.
The accident happened around noon and triggered a swift response from emergency services. Ambulances were dispatched to the scene to transport the injured workers to the local hospital in Playa del Carmen.
