Tulum, Mexico — The Korn Ferry Tour, the primary development circuit for the PGA Tour, will return to Mexico this spring with the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya.

The tournament will take place from April 16 to 19, marking the tour’s only stop in Mexico this season. It will feature rising golf stars competing for a chance to advance to the PGA Tour.

“We are excited to return to Mexico for the second edition of the Tulum Championship at PGA Riviera Maya as part of the 2026 Korn Ferry Tour season,” said Alex Baldwin, president of the Korn Ferry Tour. “We are grateful for the outstanding work everyone at Tulum Country Club, PGA Riviera Maya, and Piñero has done in preparing this year’s tournament.”

Baldwin noted that PGA Riviera Maya, one of the tour’s most challenging courses last season, will again test players as the circuit works to identify and develop the next generation of PGA Tour competitors.

“Hosting the Korn Ferry Tour for the second consecutive year at PGA Riviera Maya is a key step in our commitment to golf, with which we share values, and to promoting sports,” said Gonzalo Pan de Soraluce, Global Golf Strategy Director.

Designed by renowned architect Robert Trent Jones II, PGA Riviera Maya integrates jungle, mangrove, and cenote landscapes into its layout. The course, the only PGA-branded facility in Mexico, sits within Tulum Country Club, an exclusive residential community that offers comprehensive wellness, hospitality, dining, and services for players, guests, and visitors.

The venue has earned recognition from World Golf Awards as Mexico’s Best Golf Course in 2024 and 2025, while Tulum Country Club received the Latin America’s Best Golf Real Estate Venue award in 2025.

“PGA Riviera Maya is a course that demands precision and strategy; each round rewards decision-making and punishes mistakes,” said Andrés Brictson, Director of Golf at PGA Riviera Maya. “From April 16 to 19, we will see real competition, with finishes earned shot by shot, at a venue ready to welcome the Korn Ferry Tour again and offer an experience worthy of players and fans.”
