Isla Mujeres Hosts First Social Run & Coffee Rave, Draws Over 150 Participants
Isla Mujeres, Quintana Roo — More than 150 people, including children, teens, and adults, took part in the first edition of the Social Run & Coffee Rave held at Punta Sur, organized by the Isla Mujeres government led by Mayor Atenea Gómez Ricalde.
The event, coordinated through the municipal sports department, offered 3-kilometer and 5-kilometer routes, allowing participants to enjoy the island’s natural attractions in a safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
Members of local sports clubs and municipal youth teams, including Isla Mujeres TKD Pil Sung, Bastet Crossgym, Hulk Runners, and Runners Isla Mujeres, joined the walk, reinforcing a culture of fitness and healthy lifestyles.
The first finishers received caps and vouchers for local businesses at Punta Sur, while all attendees enjoyed special benefits and recovery areas.
