Puerto Aventuras: 50% of Infrastructure Upgrades Complete

Puerto Aventuras, Mexico — Infrastructure projects in this municipality have reached 50% completion, according to Mayor Gilberto Gómez Martínez, who highlighted the repaving of six main avenues. The mayor also announced that construction will soon begin on 27 new absorption wells as part of a plan approved by the Municipal Planning and Development Committee (Coplademun).

Ongoing Maintenance and Rainy Season Preparations

Meanwhile, preventive maintenance continues on existing wells ahead of the rainy season. Gómez Martínez emphasized that the projects aim to improve mobility and mitigate flood risks in critical areas of the municipality. Cleaning efforts for the stormwater drainage system are already underway.

“These projects not only enhance road conditions but also prepare us to handle rainfall and prevent disruptions for residents,” Gómez Martínez stated.
