Akumal, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo Mobility Institute (IMOVEQROO) will bring a mobile driver’s license service to Akumal on Thursday, May 21, allowing residents to apply for or renew licenses without traveling to central offices.
The mobile unit will operate from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Akumal Domo. Officials said the initiative aims to decentralize government services, reduce travel costs, and speed up documentation for drivers in the Riviera Maya.
All payments must be made by credit or debit card; no cash will be accepted. Attendees should bring their card and the required documents.

- Valid official ID (voter ID or passport)
- Recent proof of address from Tulum municipality
- Printed CURP
- Expired license (for renewals)
- Medical certificate including visual acuity and blood type
