Calderitas, Othón P. Blanco — The Quintana Roo State Mobility Institute (IMOVEQROO) is expanding access to essential services through its Mobile Caravans. The initiative allows citizens to complete all procedures and requirements for obtaining or renewing their state driver's license in a single location within their communities.

The most recent caravan was held last Friday in the town of Calderitas, within the municipality of Othón P. Blanco. Over 100 people participated in the event to either renew their licenses or obtain one for the first time.

These actions are framed within the humanist government promoted by Governor Mara Lezama, which prioritizes and facilitates access to services. The program aims to prevent citizens from needing to travel from their localities to complete this important procedure and ensures that prosperity reaches all homes, as established in the New Agreement for the Well-being and Development of Quintana Roo.

The head of IMOVEQROO, Rafael Hernández Kotasek, explained that during these sessions, citizens can obtain or renew their Quintana Roo state driver's license. He described the document as incorporating security measures, biometric registration, and identity validation, which provides greater legal certainty for both drivers and authorities.

This state system also enables a standardized database that strengthens control, verification, and road safety processes throughout the territory. Furthermore, the state license facilitates driver identification and contributes to improved mobility management by integrating information that allows for the organization of transportation services and the promotion of responsible driving.

Hernández Kotasek stated that with this, the Government of Quintana Roo is advancing in the construction of a safer, more modern, and reliable mobility system for everyone.

He announced that the next Mobile Caravan will take place on Thursday, March 26, in the dome of the town of Javier Rojo Gómez, in the municipality of Othón P. Blanco.

The IMOVEQROO Mobile Caravans are part of a government strategy focused on closing gaps in access to public services, particularly in communities located far from municipal capitals. Through these mobile units, the Institute establishes temporary modules with trained personnel and technological equipment to conduct the entire procedural process. This allows individuals to resolve requirements, data capture, and document validation in a single day without traveling to central offices.

In addition to facilitating access to services, these actions contribute to strengthening the culture of legality and road safety in the state by encouraging more drivers to have up-to-date licenses and comply with corresponding regulations.

Finally, Hernández Kotasek invited citizens of the Javier Rojo Gómez community to attend the caravan on Thursday, March 26, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., to complete their driver's license application and continue to be part of the success of these events.
