Youth Soccer Champions Honored in Playa del Carmen

Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The youth and children’s soccer tournaments in Playa del Carmen have concluded, with players celebrating the end of a season marked by training and athletic development. In recent days, award ceremonies were held for various local leagues, attended by hundreds of young athletes, their families, and friends, who proudly displayed their medals and trophies after competing in their respective category finals.

A Celebration of Sportsmanship

Alberto López Castro, Director General of the Sports Institute, witnessed the festivities, which marked the culmination of a season filled with competitive matches. The celebrations began at the outdoor dome of the Playa del Carmen Sports Complex, where the Xaman Há Youth and Children’s Soccer League honored the top-performing teams of the season.

Raúl Ocampo Ruiz, President of the league, expressed gratitude to the players and their families for their trust in the league and for making the tournament a celebration of sportsmanship.
