Cancún, QR — During her participation in the 2025 Teletón, "Teletón Cambia Todo, Tú Cambias Todo," Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa reaffirmed the government's commitment to the care and rehabilitation of girls and boys requiring specialized support.

The governor recalled that this humanist government with a feminist approach has supported the community of the CRIT Quintana Roo for 18 years. Mara Lezama highlighted that the Teletón Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRIT) is the fruit of collaboration between multiple stakeholders, transforming the lives of hundreds of families.

"But we are here to tell you that yes, it is possible, that we are here to support you because we want these girls and boys to fulfill their dreams," she emphasized.

Support for CRIT Grows with 2025 Teletón Donations

During the Teletón 2025 event, the governor invited citizens to join the work of the CRIT Quintana Roo through donations and support in the collection drives. "Today is the day we must all donate to reach this year's goal," she stated.

Accompanied by Verónica Lezama Espinosa, honorary president of DIF Quintana Roo, the governor thanked those who make the CRIT possible and recognized the effort of the hundreds of Mexicans who contribute their grain of sand.

For his part, Paolo Sergio Montero Jáquez, general director of the CRIT Quintana Roo, recalled that Mara Lezama has supported this voluntary cause for 18 years. "We are fortunate to have this support, as we work every day to care for the girls and boys of Quintana Roo," he stated, specifying that more than 1,200 minors currently receive care at the CRIT.

During her visit to the CRIT, the governor attended to and listened to those receiving treatment, delivered the corresponding donation from the State Government, and congratulated Cristian José González Vázquez, a 13-year-old who recently won three medals in sports dance in Aguascalientes.

Present at the Teletón 2025 activity were the Secretary of Health, Flavio Carlos Rosado; the Secretary of the Benito Juárez City Council, Pablo Gutiérrez Fernández; the medical director of the CRIT, Azeneth Valdez Clara; as well as beneficiary girls and boys of the center.

The visit reaffirms the ongoing commitment to the 2025 Teletón community, which seeks to improve the quality of life and provide opportunities for those most in need.
