Cancún — The most recent poll by Rubrum regarding preferences for the 2027 gubernatorial race in Quintana Roo confirms the positioning of Morena as the state's primary political force and establishes Gino Segura and Estefanía Mercado as the most solid figures within the party to lead the project.
According to the study, Morena registers 47.5 percent citizen support, far above the PAN with 15 percent, Movimiento Ciudadano with 12.1 percent, and the PRI with 8.9 percent. Some 16.5 percent of those polled remain undecided, which opens a significant margin for definition in the coming years.
Morena, With Broad Support
Within Morena, Gino Segura concentrates 38.9 percent of the preferences, followed by Estefanía Mercado with 23.9 percent. This scenario confirms Segura and Mercado as the best-positioned profiles to lead the continuity of the Fourth Transformation in Quintana Roo.
Fragmented Opposition
In the PAN, preference is concentrated on Mayory Martínez (53.7 percent), followed by Ernesto Sánchez (26.9 percent) and David Ortiz (19.4 percent). For its part, in Movimiento Ciudadano, José Luis Pech leads with 63.4 percent, while Roberto Palazuelos reaches 36.6 percent.
Outlook for 2027
With these numbers, Morena remains the primary electoral force in Quintana Roo, while the opposition appears dispersed and with lower margins for growth. The consolidation of Gino Segura and Estefanía Mercado within the internal preferences reflects citizen recognition of their trajectories and their capacity to represent the movement in the upcoming elections.
