Cozumel, also known as the Land of Swallows, is a haven for adventure tourists and water sports enthusiasts. With its stunning beaches and breathtaking reefs, it's no wonder why. But in recent years, Cozumel has become more than just a natural paradise. It's also a hotspot for sporting events, and soon, it will host the much-anticipated GFNY 2024 Route.
The GFNY Cozumel Route is a highlight in the cycling calendar, eagerly anticipated by athletes from the region and around the world. The event is scheduled for Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, with activities kicking off at 08:00 am.
The first day of the event is dedicated to children under 13. The following day, adult cyclists take the stage, with a choice of two distances: an 80km route and a 160km route. These distances correspond to one and two laps around the island, respectively.
Registration is now open and includes a host of benefits such as a jersey, timer tracking, a post-race meal, and a medal.
