The municipal president of Solidaridad, Estefanía Mercado, has announced plans to build an Animal Wellness Clinic in Playa del Carmen. This initiative was revealed during a community meeting where Mercado gathered suggestions for the Municipal Development Plan 2024-2027.
The Animal Wellness Clinic will provide free veterinary services to pets and wildlife. This marks a significant step forward in animal protection for the region. The project aligns with Mercado's mission to establish Playa del Carmen as a national leader in animal welfare.
The community meeting brought together non-profit organizations and citizens passionate about animal welfare. Their suggestions will be incorporated into the development plan for the upcoming administration. Mercado stressed the importance of such initiatives in achieving their goals and enhancing the quality of life for animals in Solidaridad.
