Cancún, Quintana Roo — The city of Cancún experienced a week marked by violence, with a total of four people killed in different locations within the municipality of Benito Juárez.
The first violent incident occurred on Monday, when authorities located the body of a man who was executed by gunshots on a dirt road located in the Polígono Sur area.
The victim had multiple gunshot wounds, which mobilized security forces to the area.
Subsequently, two fatal incidents were reported on Wednesday. During the daytime, the body of a person with visible signs of violence was found in the Tres Reyes neighborhood.
The violent streak continued that same night in superblock 210, where a woman lost her life after receiving several gunshots.
Finally, on Thursday, the fourth homicide of the week was recorded in superblock 66, where a man was intercepted and executed by gunshots.
In all cases, personnel from the prosecutor’s office conducted the removal of the bodies to initiate the corresponding investigations.
