Tulum’s First Real Estate Fair Offers Legal Guidance

Officials announcing the First Real Estate Fair in Tulum

Tulum, Quintana Roo — The First Real Estate Fair Tulum was announced at a press conference as a space for guidance and advice aimed at both sector professionals and the general population, with the objective of making known the processes of buying, selling, and renting real estate that provide legal and judicial certainty in the municipality.

The event is organized by the Mexican Association of Real Estate Professionals of Tulum, in coordination with the Tulum City Council through the General Directorate of Economy. During the presentation, it was announced that the fair will take place on February 13 and 14, in the esplanade of the municipal palace, from 10:00 to 18:00 hours, with free admission.

According to the organizers, the fair is open to all people interested in learning how to carry out real estate operations safely, as well as those who professionally dedicate themselves to the intermediation, promotion, and marketing of real estate in Tulum and other municipalities in the state.

The general director of Economy of Tulum, Melitón González, stated that the municipal government supports this type of initiative considering that they contribute to guiding citizens about the requirements and procedures necessary to guarantee legal operations in the real estate sector.

He indicated that these actions seek to prevent irregularities and provide greater certainty to those who participate in the purchase, sale, or rental of properties.

For his part, the president of AMPI Tulum, Martín Antonio San Miguel, explained that the fair will feature the participation of notaries, personnel from the Secretariat of Sustainable Territorial Urban Development, and specialists in the field, who will offer direct advice about the documents, procedures, and processes that properties must comply with to have judicial certainty.

Likewise, he highlighted that Tulum remains one of the municipalities with the greatest movement in the purchase and sale of real estate at the state level, so, in addition to guidance for the general public, training workshops focused on elevating the quality and professionalization of real estate services will be offered.

With the realization of this first fair, authorities and organizers seek to strengthen the culture of legality in the real estate sector, promote responsible practices, and generate direct benefits both for the local economy and for the population interested in investing or acquiring property in the municipality.
