Fire at Tulum’s Dos Ojos Cenote Burns 2 Vehicles, No Injuries

Tulum, Mexico — Emergency crews responded to a fire Sunday afternoon at the Dos Ojos cenote in Tulum after flames engulfed two vehicles and spread to nearby brush.

The Tulum General Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters, in coordination with the Secretariat of Public Security and Citizen Protection and medical personnel from Costamed, successfully extinguished the blaze before it could expand further. No injuries were reported.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the incident.
