A house in Chetumal, Quintana Roo was engulfed in flames following a family dispute. The incident took place in the Delirios community, a small settlement situated between the municipalities of Lázaro Cárdenas and Puerto Morelos.
The community of Delirios, home to 72 residents, is grappling with the challenges of uneven development. Among the issues faced by the community are the absence of medical services and secondary education, lack of a telecommunications high school, and the need for public lighting, transportation, and street maintenance.
Adding to these challenges is the ambiguity surrounding the community's municipal affiliation. This uncertainty complicates matters further as it hinders the attention of authorities and restricts access to necessary support.
