Las Vegas-Cancún Flights Return in 2026

Cancún, QR — Governor Mara Lezama Espinosa has announced the resumption of the direct Las Vegas-Cancún flight, which will begin operations on June 4, 2026, coinciding with the dates preceding the Soccer World Cup. This route, which was suspended for four years, will strengthen the international connectivity of the Mexican Caribbean.

The air link will be operated non-stop with a 737-800 aircraft with a capacity for 175 passengers, operating regularly on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturday, and Sunday. The resumption of the direct Las Vegas-Cancún flight positions Cancún as an important tourist and air transport center in Mexico.

Direct Las Vegas-Cancún Flight Strengthens Tourist Connectivity

Governor Mara Lezama emphasized that this new direct Las Vegas-Cancún flight will boost tourist and economic activity in Quintana Roo, benefiting both visitors and local families.

"This is how we strengthen air activity, more tourists arrive, and we advance towards what we seek: shared prosperity," Lezama Espinosa emphasized.

The direct Las Vegas-Cancún flight is expected to generate a significant increase in the arrival of international visitors, further consolidating Cancún's position as a first-class tourist destination.

The governor's announcement marks a milestone in the recovery of international routes, as the flight's operation reestablishes a key air link between the Mexican Caribbean and the United States after a four-year absence.
