Sound equipment stolen from secured Cancún cocktail bar

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Criminals took advantage of the darkness of night to break into and rob a cocktail bar located in Region 231.

According to neighborhood rumors, a few days ago an armed attack was registered at the location, situated on Leona Vicario Avenue, where a local man was injured.

After the attack, the place was ‘secured,’ but no state authority placed any seal and no police officer stayed to guard the location.

Given the lack of surveillance, the criminals emerged from their hideouts and forced the main gate of the establishment to enter, managing to take valuable objects such as speakers, amplifiers, and lights.

Neighbors in the area reported the incident to those in charge of the place, who traveled to the site and confirmed the robbery, prompting them to call authorities via the emergency number 911.

Upon arrival, local authorities only invited the affected parties to file a complaint with the ‘Ministerial Police, so that the case can be investigated by the Ministerial Police.
