Tulum, Quintana Roo — Two alleged drug dealers were apprehended by investigative agents from the Attorney General’s Office of the State (FGE) in the irregular settlement of 2 de Octubre in this municipality. The suspects are also connected to an attempted homicide case.
Arrest During Surveillance Operation
During an operation in the area, officers observed two men handling small bags containing suspicious substances on a dirt road. Upon inspection, authorities found doses of a plant-like substance resembling marijuana, leading to their immediate arrest for drug-related offenses.
The individuals were identified as Víctor Manuel "N" and Ángel Raúl "N," who allegedly belong to a criminal group involved in drug trafficking and accused of contributing to violence in the municipality.
Connection to Attempted Homicide
The FGE confirmed that both suspects are under investigation for their possible involvement in an attempted homicide against an individual whose identity remains confidential. The corresponding case file has been opened, and their legal status will be determined in the coming hours.
