Four months ago, the Federal Tourism Department unveiled the "Magic Color Routes" project in Cozumel. This initiative aimed to enhance the urban landscape of the city, particularly in major tourist areas, by painting murals and facades on 140 buildings. However, despite the initial announcement, work has yet to commence.

The lack of progress has sparked criticism and raised concerns among observers. The project was met with much anticipation, but the absence of any tangible results so far is disappointing. The agreement for the implementation of the project was signed, but no visible changes have been made on Cozumel Island.

The "Magic Color Routes" project was seen as a promising step towards urban improvement. However, the delay in its execution is causing doubts about its eventual realization.
