Cozumel’s Fifth Gastronomic Festival Opens Registration

Cozumel, Quintana Roo — The municipality will host the fifth Mexican Caribbean Gastronomic Festival next February, announced Quintana Roo Tourism Secretary Bernardo Cueto, who reported that registration for the event is now open.

He explained that the objective is to promote Quintana Roo’s gastronomy, as well as the art, culture, and music of the region, both among tourists and the local population, highlighting the state’s culinary richness and its evolution over generations.

Bernardo Cueto stated that Quintana Roo’s cuisine is a living expression that integrates ancestral traditions and contributions from those who have migrated to the state, becoming one of the destination’s main attractions.

He detailed that during the event there will be a gastronomic kermes with food, drinks, and dessert sales, plus participation from Maya zone producers, artisans, and musical performances, offering attendees a comprehensive experience of the Mexican Caribbean’s identity.

The Sedetur head specified that participation has no cost and that interested persons can consult the guidelines and register at the official site sedeturqroo.gob.mx, where they must complete the corresponding form and comply with established requirements.

The organizers will provide the necessary space and furniture for participants.
