Cozumel, Mexico — The Cozumel Parks and Museums Foundation (FPMC) is hosting a panel discussion titled “The Heart of Carnival Is in the Street: The Characters the People Remember” as part of the cultural activities for Cozumel Carnival 2026.
The event will take place on Monday, February 9 at 7:30 p.m. in the Auditorium of the Museum of the Island, with free admission.
The panel aims to recognize women and men who have participated in the history of the carnival, a tradition that marks 152 years and is considered one of the most representative celebrations in the Caribbean.
Participants will include Susana Coral (Show Latino), Miguel Coral Arellanes (La Guaranducha), Carmen Joaquín (Energía Caribeña), and Carlos Chan (Fiesta Caribe), who will share experiences from their careers within the festival.
