A construction worker tragically lost his life after falling from the third floor of a building site in Tulum. The site is located on the road leading to the Naval Base Aerodrome of the Navy Secretariat, directly opposite the entrance to the local archaeological zone.
Police officers responded to a 911 call and discovered the man's lifeless body on the ground, his head severely injured. After confirming the situation, they promptly called for medical assistance. Paramedics from Tulum Hospital arrived at the scene, but could only confirm the man's death.
Investigators from the Ministerial Police and Forensic Services took over the scene. The deceased, known only as José Luis "N", was found dressed in a long-sleeved grey shirt and blue denim pants. His body was discovered lying on wooden plywood, his skull partially shattered.
A man named Guillermo "N" was interviewed at the scene. He revealed that all workers had been evacuated from the site due to Hurricane Beryl. Upon returning to the site, he discovered the body of José Luis "N", who had reportedly resigned from his job some time ago.
