Caribbean Moisture to Bring Isolated Showers to Quintana Roo

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Moisture moving from the Caribbean Sea toward the Yucatan Peninsula will bring partly cloudy skies and isolated showers to Quintana Roo on Tuesday, with rainfall accumulations expected to remain under five millimeters.

The day will be warm to hot, turning cool overnight and at dawn, with wind gusts reaching up to 40 kilometers per hour. Fog banks are forecast for highway sections, rural areas, and urban zones across the state.

Authorities advise residents to dress appropriately for the temperature changes, paying special attention to young children, the elderly, and people with respiratory illnesses. They also recommend checking with port authorities for maritime activity restrictions and following lifeguard instructions at beaches.

The Benito Juárez General Directorate of Civil Protection predicts partly cloudy skies, showers with intervals of downpours, and north to northeast winds of 15 to 25 km/h, with stronger gusts. Conditions will be mild, with a high of 28°C, a low of 18°C, and a thermal sensation of 30°C.

The Isla Mujeres Municipal Coordination of Civil Protection and Firefighters forecasts partly cloudy skies, showers with intervals of downpours, and north to northeast winds of 35 to 45 km/h, with stronger gusts. The weather will be hot, with a high of 30°C, a low of 20°C, and a thermal sensation of 32°C.

The Playa del Carmen Secretariat of Civil Protection, Risk Prevention, and Firefighters expects partly cloudy skies, showers with intervals of downpours, and north to northeast winds of 35 to 45 km/h, shifting to the northeast at night with the same intensity and stronger gusts. Conditions will remain hot, with a high of 28°C, a low of 16°C, and a thermal sensation of 30°C.

The Tulum General Directorate of Civil Protection and Firefighters anticipates partly cloudy skies, showers with intervals of downpours, and north to northeast winds of 10 to 25 km/h, shifting to the northeast at night with the same intensity and stronger gusts. The climate will be muggy, with a high of 30°C, a low of 15°C, and a thermal sensation of 32°C.
