Cancún, Mexico — Early Tuesday morning, moments of panic were recorded in Cancún as a car violently crashed into a clinical laboratory after the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The accident occurred on José López Portillo Avenue in Region 101. The vehicle entered directly into the interior of the establishment, breaking the glass of the facade.
The outcome was three injured people. Among them is the driver of the car, who suffered various contusions after the crash.
According to initial reports, the woman’s foot may have slipped on the pedal. This caused the car to advance uncontrollably until it crashed into the business.
Witnesses indicated that the driver was allegedly under the influence of some illicit substance. This version will be confirmed by authorities during the investigation.
Municipal Traffic experts carried out the procedures. Red Cross paramedics and a private ambulance attended to the injured, while the driver was detained and placed at the disposal of the competent authority.
