Cancún, Mexico — Music becomes a bridge and hope for the Municipal Choir Company, which is opening 2026 with a special fundraising concert. The event invites the public to add their voice to the dream of the company directed by Noe Garrido and Miguel Ángel García, who are preparing to represent Cancún and Mexico at the XLV World Choir Games 2026, to be held in Helsingborg, Sweden.
This musical gathering features a repertoire between Mexico and Venezuela that will enchant the attending audience, who can enjoy a sonic experience not only filled with emotion and Christmas spirit, but that opens the possibility for the community to be an active part of an international achievement that promotes local talent and strengthens the city’s cultural presence on global stages.
Every applause and every ticket purchased transforms into direct support so that the choir members can continue their artistic preparation and take Cancún’s identity beyond our borders.
The concert is held with the support of the Cancún Institute of Culture and Arts, which maintains its commitment to promoting and projecting local artistic talent, betting on processes that consolidate culture as an axis of pride and social cohesion.
The event is this Sunday, January 4, at 12:00 hours, at the City Theater; tickets will be available through mistickets.com.mx.
