Cancún, Mexico — With the goal of promoting a culture of responsible ownership and strengthening coexistence between citizens and their pets, the Benito Juárez City Council, through the Cancún Fire Department, has launched the call for its upcoming Basic Canine Training Course.
This initiative, which is part of the “Cancún Nos Une” social outreach actions, offers dog owners the opportunity to learn fundamental control and behavior techniques under the guidance of experts in the area.
Venues and Instructors
The training sessions will be held at the specialized facilities of the Campo Canino Bomberos, strategically located at Av. Kabah, corner of Av. La Luna. The program will be under the technical direction of instructor Alfredo Pérez, who will supervise the progress of the canine teams.
Registration Calendar and Start Date
To secure a spot in the program, interested parties should note the following key dates:
- Registration Period: January 24 and 25.
- Course Start: Classes will formally begin the weekend of January 31 and February 1, 2026.
- Availability: Groups have been enabled to attend on Saturdays and Sundays, allowing flexibility for owners who work during the week.
Entry Requirements
To formalize registration, owners must strictly comply with two essential requirements:
- In-Person Registration: It is necessary to appear directly at the canine area of the venue to fill out the official registration form.
- Animal Health: For the safety of all participants, it is mandatory to present the pet’s current vaccination card at the time of processing.
