Over 20 chefs are set to participate in an event designed to enhance gastronomic tourism and attract food enthusiasts. The event will provide a platform for attendees to discover the latest food trends and also explore recommendations from the Michelin guide.
David Amar, General Director of the World Tasting Village, announced that this event is a follow-up to the Wine & Food Festival, which drew over 60,000 attendees interested in culinary tourism. The event is scheduled for two days, the 17th and 18th of August, at a local hotel.
During the event, participating restaurants will showcase signature dishes from the region, merging local culinary tradition with innovative techniques. Attendees can expect a range of unique offerings from gourmet restaurants, some of which are featured in the Michelin Guide.
The event will feature 15 restaurants from Cancún and the Riviera Maya, some of which have been mentioned in the Michelin Guide. Host chefs Zahie Téllez, Adrián Herrera, and José Luis Hinostroza will also be participating.
The ultimate goal is to continue to position Quintana Roo as a top destination for international events, with a particular focus on highlighting local culinary talent and cuisine.
