“Discover the Best of Cancún, Puerto Morelos & Isla Mujeres!”

Efforts are being ramped up to attract more visitors to the central areas of Cancún, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres. The strategy includes promotional campaigns targeting not just the domestic market, but also the United States, Canada, and Latin America.

Rebeca Bravo, the head of promotion at the Cancún, Puerto Morelos and Isla Mujeres Hotels Association (AHCPM&IM), has revealed that a comprehensive plan is in the works. This plan includes promotional strategies at both the national and international levels, all aimed at increasing occupancy rates and visitor numbers to these three beautiful destinations.

One of the key initiatives is participation in the International Airline Associates Fair in Guadalajara. The hotel association will represent the three locations from May 22 to 25, in partnership with the Quintana Roo Tourism Promotion Council (CPTQ).

In addition, a multi-destination caravan is planned to showcase the heart of Cancún, Puerto Morelos, and Isla Mujeres. This initiative will involve travel agents from various Mexican cities, helping to spread the word about these stunning locations.

Another caravan is set to take place in Puebla. Here, local tour operators will be introduced to the latest attractions each destination has to offer. This initiative, along with the presence of the Mexican Caribbean at international fairs, aims to generate tourist interest for the second half of the year and the summer season.
