Body Found Floating in Sea Off Playa del Carmen Beach
Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — A man was found dead in the sea near the fiscal pier in Playa del Carmen after beachgoers spotted his body floating a short distance from the shore.
Witnesses and workers in the area alerted authorities when they noticed the victim was unresponsive. A lifeguard pulled the body onto the sand, where it was confirmed the man had no vital signs.
The deceased, described as a robust man between 30 and 35 years old, was not carrying any identification or personal belongings. Officials have not yet determined how the incident occurred or how long the victim had been in the water.
