Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Authorities in Quintana Roo reported the arrest of Rolando “N”, alias “El Ogro”, 48 years old, as part of an investigation related to alleged illicit conduct against minors. The capture was carried out in Playa del Carmen and confirmed by the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE).
According to the FGE, the investigation began following a complaint filed by a relative of a 12-year-old girl. Based on this report, the Public Prosecutor’s Office opened an investigation file and ordered various procedures to clarify the facts.
During a press conference, Attorney General Raciel López Salazar detailed that the investigative actions allowed for the collection of relevant evidence that led to the arrest of the accused.
Sports Instructor Under Investigation
Rolando “N” was officially identified as a sports instructor and martial arts teacher. However, according to unofficial sources, he was also known in Playa del Carmen for his participation as a boxing trainer and promoter, which increased the impact of the case on the local sports community.
Authorities emphasized that the identity of the accused remains partially confidential, as established by law, and that he is considered innocent until a sentence is issued against him.
As part of the investigative acts, specialized experts secured a cell phone allegedly belonging to the detainee.
According to the Attorney General’s Office, videos were found on the device that form part of the evidence integrated into the case file. The prosecutor specified that the material would not correspond to a single case.
Rolando “N” is originally from the state of Veracruz and was placed at the disposal of a Control Judge, who will determine his legal status within the deadlines established by law.
