Atelier Playa Mujeres Named Best All-Inclusive Cancun Resort for Foodies by Forbes Vetted

Playa Mujeres, Quintana Roo — Atelier Playa Mujeres has been recognized for a second consecutive year by Forbes Vetted as the “Best All-Inclusive Resort in Cancun for Foodies,” a category aimed at travelers who put dining at the center of their vacations.

The resort, operated by the Mexican company ADH – Atelier de Hoteles, appears on the publication’s list of the 11 best all-inclusive resorts in Cancun. It offers an adults-only, all-inclusive suite concept in which the culinary program is one of the main draws of the stay.

According to information released by the company, the selection was made by the Forbes Vetted editorial team, which researches and evaluates the properties it recommends. In that process, the resort stood out for the range of dining options spread across its venues.

Mascia Nadin, director of operations at ADH – Atelier de Hoteles, said the distinction recognizes the consistency of that offering and the work of the staff responsible for shaping the guest experience. She also credited the talent, discipline and commitment of the company’s employees, whom it calls “Arteleros.”

Among the resort’s restaurants, María Dolores by Edgar Núñez stands out for a contemporary Mexican kitchen that reinterprets national ingredients, techniques and flavors. The restaurant holds a recommendation from the MICHELIN Guide and, according to the operator’s statement, was the first in Latin America to earn five stars from Forbes Travel Guide.

The wider dining lineup includes a collection of restaurants with their own concepts and identities, giving guests access to different culinary traditions during their stay — a diversity the hotel treats as a core part of its service.

The Forbes Vetted recognition is an editorial travel recommendation, while the five stars cited for María Dolores come from the Forbes Travel Guide rating system. The two are separate distinctions that form part of the resort’s culinary track record.

With this second consecutive inclusion in the category, Atelier Playa Mujeres retains a place in an international selection aimed at travelers who treat food as a key factor when choosing an all-inclusive property in the Mexican Caribbean.
