Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — The Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) has activated search protocols including the Amber Alert and Alba Protocol following the disappearance of two sisters, Naomi Jisell García Fausto, 15, and Hanna Cristell García Fausto, 12.
The sisters were last seen on January 1, 2026 in the municipality of Playa del Carmen. Their current whereabouts remain unknown.
According to official information, Naomi Jisell García Fausto was wearing a long black dress with purple sandals at the time of her disappearance. She has a scar on her left eyebrow, stands approximately 1.58 meters tall, has a slim build, and a dark complexion.
Hanna Cristell García Fausto was wearing a long-sleeved black dress and pink sandals. She is 1.55 meters tall with a slim build and light brown complexion. No distinctive marks have been reported for her.
The FGE is urging citizens to assist with any information that could help locate the minors by calling 984 873 0163. Citizen participation is considered crucial in such cases, as responsibly sharing information can make a difference and contribute to a prompt, safe recovery.
