“Beach Vehicles Seized for Endangering Turtle Nests in Yucatan”

In Telchac Puerto, Yucatan, local authorities have taken action to protect sea turtle nesting sites from potential harm. Two vehicles were seized on the beach, an area known for sea turtle nesting.

The local police were alerted by residents who spotted the vehicles on the beach. The vehicles, an all-terrain Razor and a quad bike, were reportedly posing a threat to the turtle nests.

The owner of the vehicles, a 54-year-old individual identified as M.A.M.C., was detained during the operation. The vehicles were transported to the local police station following their seizure.

This incident serves as a reminder of the importance of protecting wildlife habitats from potential threats.
