Breaking: Shocking Incident in Playa Del Carmen Leaves Taxi Driver Dead

A man tragically lost his life on Thursday night in Playa del Carmen after being struck by a trailer on the city's boulevard, near the Liverpool branch. The incident reportedly occurred just before 10 pm in the south-to-north lane.

Eyewitness reports suggest that the victim, now deceased, was attempting to cross the road when he was hit by the trailer. The driver of the trailer allegedly did not stop and continued on his route.

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the trailer was later found abandoned on 41st street in the Forjadores neighborhood, just minutes after the incident.

Private paramedics arrived at the scene of the accident, but it was too late. The victim's body, tragically torn in half, was left in the middle of the road.

Forensic Services personnel arrived later to collect the body and transfer it to the Forensic Medical Service.
