Quintana Roo, Mexico — The 6th Art Gala of the Teletón Children’s Rehabilitation and Inclusion Center (CRIT) Quintana Roo will take place on September 25 at the Universal Hall of the Moon Palace Hotel. The event uniquely blends art, gastronomy, and solidarity to raise funds for 1,300 children from Quintana Roo who receive treatment at the center.
A Night of Sensory Experiences and Philanthropy
Under the theme "See, touch, smell, listen, and taste," the gala promises an unforgettable evening where attendees will not only enjoy sensory experiences but also contribute to the well-being of children undergoing therapy. The funds raised will support specialized therapies and consultations, essential for advancing the functional independence and social inclusion of beneficiaries.
This year, internationally renowned visual artist León Alva will be the featured guest. Alva collaborated with CRIT children to create 10 unique artworks that reflect their creativity and spirit. These pieces, notable for their textures and dimensions, will be auctioned during the event, offering attendees the chance to acquire meaningful art.
Culinary and Musical Highlights
In addition to the art auction, guests will have access to over 100 tourism experiences and a culinary festival featuring more than 20 acclaimed chefs from Quintana Roo. The evening will conclude with a special performance by the Municipal Choir Company, captivating the audience with a mesmerizing repertoire.
A Movement for Inclusion
The CRIT Quintana Roo Art Gala is more than an event—it is a movement aimed at transforming lives and providing hope to those in need. Through the collaboration of artists, chefs, and the community, the gala reaffirms its commitment to building a more inclusive future full of opportunities for the region’s children.
