A $5.5 million mansion in Tulum has become a talking point on TikTok, with users criticizing its hefty price tag. The property, dubbed "the most famous house in Tulum," is located in an exclusive gated community and boasts a striking exterior.

Upon entering, visitors are greeted by a grand door, a chandelier, a dining room, and a kitchen with a five-meter bar and a second hidden one. The mansion features two showers, several elegant rooms, and a pool that can accommodate up to 16 people.

The second floor houses additional rooms, bringing the total to 10 throughout the property, some with their own bathrooms. The basement offers more spaces, including a bar, a party room with a large window overlooking the pool, and a small cinema. The property also features a rooftop for hosting outdoor events, an additional room with access to a second pool, and another private bathroom. One of the most notable features is the pool adorned with a Buddha sculpture.

Despite the mansion's size and amenities, including all the furniture, TikTok users have deemed the price too high. Comments ranged from "That house is worth 5.5 million, but in pesos," to "With 5.5 million dollars you can buy a super mansion here in the USA," and "It's beautiful but the price is through the roof."
