Tulum, Quintana Roo — A 31-year-old American woman sustained injuries after losing control of her motorcycle on Kukulcán Avenue in Tulum’s coastal zone near a beach club.
The Tulum Public Security and Citizen Protection Department reported that municipal traffic officers responded to the incident. Upon arrival, they found paramedics from Tulum Hospital providing medical attention to the driver.
According to official information, the woman was riding her motorcycle when she allegedly lost control to her extreme left, veering off the roadway. The motorcycle ended up in brush and on the sidewalk.
After the fall, the driver suffered injuries that required transport to Tulum Hospital for more precise evaluation. Her husband accompanied her to the medical center.
Authorities reported no damage to third parties or other vehicles. The motorcycle was seized and moved to the department’s facilities for safekeeping.
The incident was handled and concluded once corresponding procedures were completed and traffic flow in the area returned to normal.
