Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo — Authorities have charged two men in connection with a homicide in Playa del Carmen, where the victim was shot during an argument and his body hidden in a mechanical workshop.

The Quintana Roo State Prosecutor’s Office announced that a judge ordered Abraham “N,” also known as “El Grande,” and Moisés “N” to stand trial for their alleged involvement in the aggravated homicide of an unidentified man.

According to the investigation, the incident occurred in the early hours of March 23 at a property in the La Guadalupana neighborhood. Investigators say the victim arrived at the location where the suspects were socializing. An argument broke out between the victim and Abraham “N,” who then allegedly used a firearm to shoot him, killing him at the scene.

Abraham “N” then reportedly asked Moisés “N” for help moving the body and concealing it inside the building, which functioned as an auto repair shop.

After reviewing the evidence, the judge ordered both men to stand trial and imposed preventive detention as a precautionary measure for two years or the duration of the judicial process.
