Tulum, Quintana Roo — Two 34-year-old men were arrested in Tulum with more than 124 packets containing substances that resembled marijuana and methamphetamine, authorities said, in an operation coordinated among agencies at the municipal, state and federal levels.
The suspects were identified as Luis Felipe “N” and Francisco Javier “N.” The operation involved the Tulum Municipal Police, the Investigative Police, the Mexican Army and the National Guard.
Both men were handed over to the State Prosecutor’s Office on suspicion of crimes against health.
