Tulum, Quintana Roo — The Tulum Municipal Library Directorate has announced the start of the traditional 2025 Christmas Piñata Workshop, aimed at girls and boys aged 8 to 12.
This activity will take place at the Jacinto Pat Library and seeks to keep alive one of the most beloved customs of the season, while promoting creativity and manual skills among Tulum’s children.
With small groups and accessible schedules, the workshop provides a safe and educational space.
The goal is for participants to create their own piñata from scratch, learn about its cultural significance, and enjoy activities designed specifically for their age.
Dates, Schedules, and Available Spots
The workshop will be held over two consecutive weeks:
- December 1 to 5
- December 8 to 12
To facilitate participation, two shifts are available:
- 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
- 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Each group will have a limited capacity of 20 participants to ensure personalized attention and an enriching experience.
Christmas Piñatas: Tradition and Learning in Tulum
During the sessions, children will learn basic techniques for papier-mâché, design, and decoration of Christmas piñatas, fostering teamwork and the community spirit that characterizes the December season.
It was finally announced that registrations are now open, and parents and guardians are invited to register children as soon as possible due to the high demand this activity receives each year.
