TULUM — Personnel from the Heroic Fire Department of Tulum successfully rescued a puppy that had become trapped between the concrete grates of a wall after receiving a citizen report alerting them to the situation.

Upon arrival at the site, the rescue personnel confirmed that the animal was stuck in a narrow space, unable to move and visibly frightened. They immediately assessed the structure to avoid risks and, using specialized tools, began careful maneuvers to free the canine without causing injury.

After several minutes of work, the firefighters managed to widen the space in the wall and rescue the puppy safe and sound, under the watchful eyes of neighbors who expressed gratitude for the rapid response and professionalism of the personnel.

The Fire Department emphasized that this type of action is part of their daily work and reflects their commitment to protecting not only people but also the animals that live in the municipality. They also urged citizens to immediately report any emergency or risk situation so that timely attention can be provided.

These types of incidents are frequent in different neighborhoods of Tulum, where stray animals or those with free movement can become trapped in confined spaces. Authorities reminded the public of the importance of responsible pet ownership and supervision to prevent accidents that could risk their safety.
