Tulum, Quintana Roo — Tulum’s Felipe Carrillo Puerto International Airport will be served by 10 airlines flying to 13 destinations during the winter season, according to state tourism officials.
Tourism Secretary Bernardo Cueto announced that the schedule, running from Oct. 25, 2026 to March 27, 2027, includes international flights from Calgary, Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, New Jersey, Dallas, Miami, Atlanta and Houston. Domestic service will connect with Mexico City International Airport (AICM), Felipe Ángeles International Airport (AIFA), Monterrey and Guadalajara.
The announcement comes as Tulum works to counter a drop in demand. In June, the Tulum Trust for Tourism Promotion and Economic Development signed an agreement with Mexicana de Aviación to add eight summer routes and offer preferential travel packages backed by more than 75 companies. Trust president Mario Cruz said the initiative was developed over two months with hoteliers, restaurateurs, tour operators, parks, tour guides and travel agencies to respond to the destination’s economic slowdown.
