Three Bodies Discovered in Cancún, One Dismembered

Three bodies found in different parts of Cancún

Cancún, Quintana Roo — Three bodies were found in different parts of Cancún on Friday, December 12, 2025. One was dismembered, while another was discovered floating in the water in the Puerto Juárez area. The identities of the three individuals remain unknown, and some may have missing persons reports.

Initially, the discovery of two bodies was reported, one of which was dismembered. They were located this morning. One was found in the Villas Otoch Paraíso subdivision in Region 259, while the other was seen in Supermanzana 95 of the Benito Juárez municipality.

The first remains were found around 2:00 a.m., after several calls alerted 911 that at least four men were pushing a “diablito” (hand truck) along Niños Héroes Avenue in Region 259 of Cancún.

Shortly afterward, residents of the area found a dismembered body inside a blue drum, which the subjects left in the hallways, very close to a Federal Electricity Commission structure.

It emerged, according to statements from some residents of this part of Cancún, that the body was dismembered and had also been wrapped with bags, rags, and scraps of fabric.

Subsequently, around 5:30 a.m. on the same Friday, a group of residents found a large bag with red stains, apparently blood, on Calle 111 in Supermanzana 95, prompting a call to the 911 emergency number.

In both cases, the first responders were elements of the Municipal Police, who cordoned off the areas while waiting for agents from the Quintana Roo State Attorney General’s Office to arrive. Forensic Medical Service experts were tasked with transporting the remains to the morgue, where they would perform the corresponding autopsies.

DROWNED IN PUERTO JUÁREZ

On the other hand, it was reported that another lifeless body was found floating on the morning of this Friday in front of the docks of Marina Hacienda del Mar, located in Supermanzana 86 of Puerto Juárez, belonging to the Benito Juárez municipality, which is the foundational area of Cancún.

Workers from the location reportedly called 911 after noticing a person’s body floating in the water, which mobilized elements of the Municipal Police and Cancún Firefighters, who went to the site to cordon off the area.

The elements proceeded to remove the body from the water. For now, the identity, age, and whether or not it shows signs of violence are unknown.
