A network of companies, suspected of fabricating work and engaging in dubious practices, has been invoicing the Maya Train project. These companies are reportedly associated with politicians who have been accused of irregular operations.
Bank transfers from Banregio reveal that Espacio de Oportunidades en Desarrollo, one of the companies in the network, moved a total of 58 million pesos between November and December 2022 alone.
The nature of these transactions, according to confidential sources, could be linked to ongoing electoral processes. This is due to the dispersal among services that have not been verified.
