Upon verifying his identity in the Plataforma México database, it was confirmed that he had an active arrest warrant for the murder of the three taxi drivers, who were found with gunshot wounds in Playa del Carmen.

The detainee was transferred to Quintana Roo, where he was placed at the disposal of the judicial authority in Playa del Carmen to determine his legal status.
