Lázaro Cárdenas, Quintana Roo — State investigators, working with the Mexican Army and Navy, seized suspected drugs, firearms, and tactical equipment during coordinated raids at four properties in this municipality.
The State Prosecutor’s Office announced that its investigative police, in coordination with the Mexican Army (SEDENA) and Mexican Navy (SEMAR), executed search warrants at multiple locations in Lázaro Cárdenas. Authorities secured what they described as suspected drugs, firearms, ammunition, and various tactical gear.
First Raid in San Ángel
The first operation took place at a residence on an unnamed dirt road in the community of San Ángel. Officers located green and dry plant material resembling marijuana, along with multicolored pills. At this site, authorities also seized more than 900 rounds of live ammunition, 70 spent shell casings, a long gun with a loaded magazine, a gram scale, and notebooks containing various notes.
Second Raid in Solferino
Another search was conducted at a property on Ignacio Allende Street, between the Kantunilkín–Chiquilá highway and José María Morelos, in the community of Solferino. There, authorities secured dry plant material, multicolored solid substances, tactical vests, uniforms, shirts, communication radios, metal magazines, and live ammunition of various calibers.
Third and Fourth Raids in San Ángel
At a third residence, located on Tulipanes Street between Los Pinos and the Kantunilkín–Chiquilá highway, also in San Ángel, officers found marijuana, multicolored pills, and a white powder resembling cocaine. They also seized two firearms, metal magazines, live ammunition, radios, adhesive stamps, and tactical clothing.
Finally, at another property in the same locality, situated on an unnamed dirt road, authorities secured dry plant material, multicolored solid substances, ballistic helmets, tactical clothing, metal magazines, radios, and a pistol-type weapon.
After completing the operations, officers placed seizure seals on all four properties, which remain under the custody of the State Prosecutor’s Office. All secured evidence has been handed over to the Public Prosecutor’s Office, which will continue building the corresponding case files.
